David Bean is the owner of Capstone Trading Systems, a Dallas, Texas based trading systems software developer and market researcher. We help people diversify their investment approach by participating in short term algorithmic trading in the futures markets. We offer software subscription services that subscribers can use to manage their own trading account as well as full service managed accounts through Capstone Futures Group. Alternative investment strategies can provide diversity to traditional investment strategies.

David has been developing trading systems since 1997. ​Market research and developing strategies that capture price movements in the market in a dynamic and changing investment environment is his professional passion. Finding some order within the chaos and market volatility to “beat the market” is the goal of Capstone Trading Systems.

Capstone Trading Systems develops trading software including fully automated trading systems, indicators, and money management algorithms as a plug-in or add on for the Tradestation and Multicharts platforms. Our strategies specialize in the automatic order entry and exits for day trade and short term trading strategies that generate long and short trades in the futures markets. David, graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering 1994. After working full time as an engineer in the telecommunications industry from 1995 – 2001, he became a full time trader in 2001. David took his first equities trade in 1995, his first futures trade in 1996, and started developing trading systems in 1997.
